About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the design and implementation of test strategies and plans
- Mentor and guide mid-level and junior QA engineers
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Cypress, JMeter, and Postman
- Conduct code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality
- Analyze test results and recommend improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle
- Drive adoption of QA best practices and continuous process improvement
- Act as a subject matter expert in software testing and quality assurance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Expertise in Cypress and TypeScript, JMeter, Jest, Postman, SQL/DB, and Jira
- Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools
- Proficient in writing and executing complex test cases and test scripts
- Expertise in end-to-end, API, and performance/load testing
- Familiarity with source/version control such as Git
- Familiarity with AWS CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Located in Ontario, Canada, preferably Toronto
- Authorization to work in the U.S. is referenced through E-Verify and Form I-9 requirements
