About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Author and maintain OpenAPI/OAS 3.0 specifications and generated API reference documentation
Create integration guides, quickstarts, and authentication/tenancy walkthroughs for customer and partner engineers
Own the engineering and product release-notes pipeline using Jira and GitHub
Maintain Markdown documentation in GitHub through pull-request review
Produce and maintain product user manuals, admin-app help content, and customer-facing launch collateral
Work daily with Engineering and Product to ensure documentation accuracy by reviewing code changes, specifications, and tickets
Own API reference documentation, developer integration guides, release notes, and product user/admin documentation across DexCare product lines
Work primarily with platform engineering teams in the Bangalore GCC

Requirements

What you’ll need

4–7 years of technical writing experience, with the majority on developer-facing content and additional end-user or admin documentation experience
Hands-on ability to read, edit, and maintain OpenAPI/OAS 3.0 specifications
Fluency with REST endpoints, request/response shapes, OAuth2/JWT authentication, webhooks, and error semantics
Ability to test API calls using Postman or curl
Experience with GitHub branches, pull requests, reviews, and merge discipline
Ability to read JSON/YAML and follow sample code in Python, Java, or JavaScript
Strong written English
A writing sample authored by the candidate, such as an API reference or developer guide, required with every submitted profile
Healthcare or healthtech technical writing experience is a strong plus
Experience with Redoc, Swagger UI, Stoplight, ReadMe, Docusaurus, or similar API documentation platforms is a plus
Demonstrated use of AI tools such as Claude or Copilot in a documentation workflow is a plus
