About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the annual communications plan for Dexcom Spain, including corporate narrative, launch milestones and regional success stories
  • Manage media relations and the external PR agency
  • Prepare press materials, spokesperson briefings and editorial content
  • Build and govern long-term partnerships with national and regional patient organisations
  • Ensure compliance and transparency in patient-organisation partnerships
  • Project-manage strategic regional and national initiatives end-to-end
  • Establish milestones, deliverables and reporting for strategic initiatives
  • Partner with Market Access to strengthen Dexcom’s position with health authorities across CCAA
  • Promote innovation projects and turn pilots and new care models into case studies
  • Lead internal communications
  • Define and track communications and advocacy KPIs
  • Report impact to the leadership team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 5–8 years of related experience
  • Experience building and running communications or patient advocacy programmes in healthcare, medtech or pharma in Spain
  • Fluent in Spanish and English
  • Knowledge of the Spanish healthcare system, including its regional structure, decision-makers and advocacy’s role in access
  • Strong project management discipline
  • Sound judgement on tone, reputation and risk
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Market Access, Medical and Commercial
  • Nice to have: experience with compliance and transparency frameworks governing collaboration with patient organisations
  • Nice to have: comfort with digital content and social platforms for health audiences
  • Ability to travel 20–25%
  • Ability to report to the office as required, regardless of permanent residence location
