About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support Spanish-speaking Dexcom patients in Spain and Andorra via phone, web forms, and email.
  • Handle patient inquiries, product and service concerns, complaints, and technical issues involving Dexcom mobile apps, cloud software, and associated hardware.
  • Access and update patient accounts through computer-based systems.
  • Monitor current procedures to ensure compliance with set standards.
  • Provide technical support and training to patients and healthcare providers.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for patients and medical professionals.
  • Coordinate with Customer Advocacy to maintain records to a high standard.
  • Respond to calls and emails with troubleshooting tips and specific instructions.
  • Review and discuss data with patients and provide phone-based training when required.
  • Use and maintain software and databases appropriately.
  • Document and analyze patient and product information.
  • Send replacements and samples and perform patient follow-up according to department standards.
  • Participate in new product training when products are launched.
  • Comply with quality system, regulatory, patient confidentiality, and privacy requirements.
  • Maintain high-quality technical support standards and achieve agreed service levels.
  • Help ensure satisfactory results in periodic customer surveys.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and an excellent phone manner.
  • Customer-focused and empathetic, with an ability to listen to customer needs and find solutions.
  • Problem-solving skills while working independently and in collaboration with other teams.
  • Ability to write reports and read and interpret procedure manuals, operating instructions, and safety rules.
  • Proven experience supporting mobile apps on both iOS and Android, as well as cloud-based reporting systems, which would be an advantage.
  • Typically requires a minimum of 2-4 years of related experience.
  • High School diploma/certificate or equivalent.
  • Compliance with quality system, regulatory, confidentiality, and privacy requirements.
