About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as a Tier 3 Security Operations Center (SOC) engineer, monitoring and responding to security alerts from SIEM and security tools.
Perform incident response activities including discovery, threat analysis and correlation, response, remediation, containment, and network or endpoint forensics.
Monitor and respond to DLP alerts and incidents.
Process and manage requests for security services, including customer security inquiries, malicious or blocked attachment and website reviews, firewall change requests, and vulnerability scans.
Lead an assigned SecOps pillar and oversee its operations and technical project implementations.
Support assigned SecOps and Infosec global or regional projects and initiatives.
Support or perform vulnerability and penetration testing and drive remediation activity.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong understanding of SIEM platforms and security operations.
Hands-on experience with SIEM, DLP, IDS, IPS, vulnerability scanning, firewall, endpoint security or email security systems.
Solid experience handling, investigating, and responding to malware events, incident response, network and/or endpoint forensics.
Experience managing and securing Windows, Linux, and Mac systems.
Willingness to cover US, EMEA or APAC working hours following a sustainable rotation schedule and at times cover on-call duties.
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and a minimum of 5-8 years related experience, or Master’s degree and 2-5 years equivalent industry experience, or a PhD and 0-2 years experience.
Experience in scripting (Python or PowerShell) and familiarity with Regex preferred.
Hands-on experience with reverse engineering, malware forensics, or penetration testing preferred.
Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, SANS/GIAC, CEH, etc. preferred.
Travel required: 0-5%.
