About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the point of contact for specific projects within Dialight Global Supply Chain Management
- Plan, budget, monitor, and report on projects
- Coordinate with internal and external SCM department functions
- Act as the bridge between upper management and project execution teams
- Ensure project scope is sound and projects remain on the approved schedule
- Coordinate global supply chain activities, inventory management and monitoring, supply chain analytics, KPIs, and process improvements
- Coordinate with cross-functional leaders in corporate and supply chain managers at factories worldwide
- Use advanced Microsoft Excel to manage large datasets, perform analysis, maintain trackers, and develop reports
- Analyze inventory, purchasing, and supply chain data to identify trends, resolve discrepancies, and support business decisions
- Maintain planning data, including safety stock levels, target inventory values, and product lifecycle changes
- Create and process purchase orders and ensure accurate procurement documentation and timely execution
- Build relationships with internal colleagues and external vendors
- Collaborate with Product Management, Sales, Operations, Procurement, Finance, and other cross-functional teams on sales forecasting, tollgates, and process completion
- Investigate and resolve data discrepancies across business systems and data sources
- Develop and improve tracking tools, reports, and business processes
- Coordinate team communications, reminders, operational updates, and planning information
- Train and mentor new team members on business systems, data sources, reporting tools, data management, and departmental processes
- Support continuous improvement initiatives through process-gap identification and data-driven solutions
- Complete recurring and ad hoc analyses, reporting, purchasing activities, and operational requests on schedule
Requirements
What you’ll need- BA degree in a business or supply chain
- Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain fields of demand planning, purchasing, or production control
- Relevant industry experience in material planning, logistics, or supply chain, ideally in a manufacturing environment
- Good knowledge and understanding of a variety of manufacturing processes and components
- Good understanding of supply chain management
- Proven IT systems knowledge and skills, including advanced Excel skills
- Knowledge and experience using ERP/MRP systems
- Strong analytical and data mining skills
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to provide information and data with a full understanding of how failure impacts production, manufacturing, and customer order fulfillment
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work independently with emphasis on accuracy and detail
- Self-starter
