About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Rigorously assess clients’ situations
  • Provide short-term career counselling through an initial meeting and follow-up meetings, including career planning and development and skills assessments
  • Develop and provide resources and tools based on clients’ needs
  • Support clients throughout their career journeys through individual counselling
  • Collaborate closely with the Member Services Manager and a multidisciplinary team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Comfortable working in both French and English, verbally and in writing
  • Member of the Ordre des conseillers et conseillères d'orientation du Québec (OCCOQ)
  • Available for a part-time position of at least 21 hours per week
  • At least 3 years of experience as a career counsellor
  • Experience with or openness to remote work
  • Experience working with an adult clientele is an asset
