About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Define what Product Design is at Digible as the most senior design voice in the company
Carry real hands-on design work across pods as a shared senior design resource, approximately 75% of the time
Set the bar for presenting data, analytics, and AI-generated intelligence to customers
Coach and develop the Product Designer, approximately 25% of the time alongside function-building
Partner with product managers on product strategy and roadmaps
Lead customer research and discovery, including interview practice, customer advisory board, and feedback analysis and synthesis
Build relationships across product pods and agency teams
Establish design principles, critique culture, quality standards, career ladder, and job descriptions
Develop, lead, and iterate on the design system and design operations
Define and implement an AI-native design practice and lead AI transformation for design
Educate the team and leadership on design and AI trends
Drive product customer satisfaction and data engagement
Improve design system adoption, consistency, quality, team health, growth, and design velocity

Requirements

What you’ll need

6+ years of product design experience, including 2+ years managing or formally mentoring designers
Standout track record designing data, analytics, or intelligence products that customers find engaging and trustworthy
Still excellent and happy doing hands-on design approximately 75% of the time
Built design foundations from scratch, including principles, design system, operations, or critique culture
Hands-on with AI tools and opinionated about where they fit in the craft
Comfortable leading through ambiguity with minimal infrastructure and incomplete information
Start-up to scale-up (50-200 people) experience preferred
First-design-leader or founding-designer experience preferred
Experience designing AI features and trust and explainability patterns preferred
Digital marketing domain knowledge is a bonus
Real estate domain knowledge is a bonus
Candidates must be located within the United States
