About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and maintain standard reports for benefit, wellness, and leave of absence programs
  • Participate in new vendor implementations
  • Assist the Workday HRIS team with configuration, documentation, maintenance, and vendor integrations
  • Interpret census data and evaluate its accuracy
  • Support annual renewals and vendor implementations by monitoring compliance, identifying bid differences, and maintaining internal client databases
  • Liaise with benefit vendors and carriers regarding eligibility, participation, coverage, data transfers, and compliance
  • Maintain client access to external online portals
  • Confer with internal clients, consultants, attorneys, third-party administrators, benefit record keepers, and carriers to exchange necessary data
  • Manage health, welfare, and retirement plan compliance, including reporting, filings, audits, Form 5500, ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, and other regulatory requirements
  • Manage Affordable Care Act compliance, reporting, and data review/sign-off
  • Participate in annual audits and complete nondiscrimination testing for group health and 401(k) plans
  • Respond to regulatory filing information requests
  • Support Open Enrollment, including benefits configuration, testing, plan document review, and employee enrollment
  • Evaluate practices, improve efficiency, innovate, and use data to build business cases
  • Execute business plans, contribute to functional strategy, and develop and execute accurate, consistent business processes
  • Perform other assigned duties and reallocate efforts as business needs require

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills
  • Advanced skills and experience using Excel
  • Proficiency in Word and PowerPoint
  • Organized and detail oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Knowledge of ERISA, IRS and DOL regulations
  • Experience leading enterprise-wide initiatives
  • Experience with Workday configuration and/or testing
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employment-based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future
