About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define and lead the information systems roadmap, aligned with the technical strategy and business priorities
- Manage the IS budget, optimize resources, and present recommendations and trade-offs to the Technical Director
- Assess the existing environment and propose areas for improvement
- Establish performance indicators and management dashboards
- Monitor technological developments and ensure systems accreditation and approval
- Lead IS projects, including tool deployments, migrations, upgrades, and compliance initiatives
- Oversee the implementation and evolution of security, network, infrastructure, and systems solutions
- Draft specifications and monitor costs, timelines, and risks
- Manage the IT asset portfolio, licenses, and renewal lifecycle
- Deploy and maintain the information security policy
- Work with business teams to integrate security into application projects
- Manage security incidents and coordinate corrective actions
- Contribute to the drafting and updating of business continuity and disaster recovery plans (BCP/DRP)
- Lead security awareness initiatives for users
- Ensure GDPR compliance
- Provide Level 1 to Level 3 support, handling incidents and service requests
- Manage employee onboarding and offboarding, including accounts, equipment, and access rights
- Document procedures and train users
- Serve as the primary point of contact for information systems, reporting to the Technical Director
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master’s degree (engineering school, Master’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent)
- At least 8 years of experience in information systems
- 3 to 5 years of experience in an information systems management or leadership role
- Broad expertise across support, infrastructure, networking, applications, and security
- Strong knowledge of security solutions (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS) and business continuity requirements
- Proven project management experience
- Knowledge of ERP systems, Microsoft 365, Azure or AWS cloud platforms, and security tools
- Self-sufficient, detail-oriented, with strong decision-making skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Excellent interpersonal skills when working with leadership, business teams, and Tech/Product teams
- Individual contributor role with no direct people-management responsibilities
