About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support partners building on top of the company's APIs
- Help non-technical colleagues resolve engineering issues
- Escalate complex engineering issues to the appropriate product team
- Implement automated tools to reduce repetitive work
- Consistently meet agreed SLAs and maintain transparency on work
- Respond to stakeholders within two business days
- Run the sandbox independently by month six
- Ship a change through CI by month twelve
- Work as part of the Platform and Enablement squad within the Engineering team
- Receive mentorship and work reviews from senior engineers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience with systems exposing APIs
- Clear written English communication with people never met
- Ability to push back with arguments
- Ability to manage multiple open conversations without letting one go silent
- Ability to make API calls independently, including obtaining an OAuth token and troubleshooting HTTP 403 errors
- Experience using Postman or curl
- SQL proficiency
- Comfort working in a terminal, including SSH, running commands, and reading logs
- Knowledge of deployments, Docker, and CI
- Daily use of AI tools and at least one reusable project built with them
- Infrastructure experience is not required
