About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own project work across the GTM stack, including tool implementations, integrations, routing and lifecycle automation, and cross-tool enhancements
  • Take projects from design through testing, rollout, and enablement
  • Handle tier 2 escalations involving flow errors, integration failures, data model questions, and cross-system issues
  • Trace issues to root cause and deliver durable fixes
  • Build and maintain integrations and data flows using iPaaS tooling and APIs
  • Keep account ownership, territories, routing, and product catalog data consistent across Snowflake, Salesforce, and downstream tools
  • Build AI-powered workflows, agents, LLM-based automation, and MCP integrations
  • Perform complex Salesforce work, including flows, data model changes, permission architecture updates, sandbox management, and release management
  • Contribute to solution design, requirements, architecture, tradeoff analysis, and impact assessment
  • Coordinate with vendors on implementations, support cases, and proofs of concept
  • Evaluate new tools hands-on
  • Document builds, establish reusable patterns, and mentor the IC2 engineer

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years administering and building on GTM/business systems
  • Deep Salesforce experience with flows, data model, permissions, and deployments
  • Hands-on experience in at least two other GTM tool categories: sales engagement, CS platforms, CPQ, enrichment, or marketing automation
  • End-to-end ownership of shipped implementations, integrations, or process automations
  • Experience building and debugging integrations via iPaaS tools and/or APIs
  • Understanding of authentication, rate limits, sync direction, and failure modes
  • Hands-on experience or strong demonstrated interest applying AI to systems work, including agents, LLM-powered automation, or MCP-style integrations
  • Comfortable with SQL and warehouse concepts
  • Ability to trace data quality issues from source to destination
  • Root-cause analysis and documentation skills
  • Ability to scope vague requests, communicate progress and tradeoffs, and push back constructively
  • Familiarity with Apex, Python, or JavaScript sufficient to read, understand, and review code
  • Salesforce certifications such as Advanced Administrator or Platform App Builder are a plus
