About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage the entire contract lifecycle, from drafting and negotiation to execution and compliance monitoring
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with clients, suppliers, and partners
- Ensure contracts are clear, comprehensive, and aligned with organizational goals
- Monitor compliance with contract terms and applicable laws and regulations
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with legal, finance, procurement, and operations teams to facilitate contract execution and compliance
- Provide expert guidance on contract-related inquiries and issues
- Maintain an organized and accurate contract management database
- Ensure timely renewals, amendments, and terminations of contracts
- Track contract performance metrics and report on compliance and effectiveness
- Address and resolve disputes or performance issues
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3-5+ years of experience in contract management or a similar role
- Law degree from a recognized Indian university or equivalent
- Strong understanding of software and technology contracting and negotiating customer contracts
- In-depth knowledge of contract law and regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in contract management software (e.g., IronClad, Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Proven negotiation skills and ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously
- 3+ years of commercial and privacy contracting experience under United Kingdom, European, United States, and APAC laws at a recognized law firm or technology company
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
- DISCO is not currently sponsoring visas, including H-1B, TN, or EAD, and is not accepting visa transfers
