About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Define system requirements, architecture, interfaces, and end-to-end feature traceability.
Design, develop, integrate, and validate remote control systems across software, hardware, controls, and communication networks.
Develop and maintain embedded software using Embedded C/C++ and MATLAB/Simulink.
Perform system integration, verification & validation (V&V), troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
Support functional safety, FMEA, product quality, and release activities.
Utilize AI-assisted tools to improve engineering productivity, testing, and documentation.
Collaborate with remote control system engineers and global teams to deliver production-ready solutions.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field and 5-7 years of experience in Systems Engineering, Embedded Software Development, and Integration & Validation, including 3-5 years of system integration experience.
5+ years of experience with Embedded C/C++ and MATLAB/Simulink.
5+ years of embedded system development experience with RTOS.
Strong knowledge of requirements engineering, system architecture, electrical schematics, system integration, and V&V.
Proficiency with CAN, Ethernet, and embedded control systems, along with tools such as CANoe/CANalyzer, Wireshark, and Git.
Proficiency with AI-assisted engineering tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot).
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills; a self-starter who is highly motivated and able to learn quickly.
