Key responsibilities & impact

Lead project teams in developing software solutions that integrate common services across application portfolios and enterprise systems
Ensure successful project delivery on time, within budget, and according to quality expectations
Lead planning, coordination, and execution of project activities and team resources
Manage project charters, communications, metrics, reporting, plans, schedules, and budgets throughout the project lifecycle
Coordinate cross-functional project teams from concept and development through prototype, pilot, implementation, and follow-up
Develop, maintain, and communicate detailed project schedules and timelines
Use project management tools and techniques for reporting, tracking, checklists, schedules, and task delegation
Lead change management and timely decision-making
Track project milestones, timelines, costs, affected components, functions, and completion requirements
Collaborate with functional teams and customers to establish milestones and completion dates
Monitor progress, identify and communicate issues, resolve problems, and implement corrective actions
Analyze project issues and recommend solutions, alternatives, and courses of action

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree AND 8+ years of experience OR Master’s Degree AND 6+ years of experience
6+ years of experience managing projects from inception through completion
Ability to lead teams, drive alignment, and establish clear project direction
Proven experience leading end-to-end program management within cross-functional, matrixed organizations
6+ years of direct project management experience working with software engineering teams in Agile software development environments, business partners, and product managers
Demonstrated experience collaborating with cross-functional teams across multiple business and technical disciplines
Experience with ticketing and project management systems such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar tools
Strong understanding of project management principles, including project charters, project planning, scheduling, scope definition, and successful project execution
Ability to facilitate teams through charter development, scope alignment, and ways of working
2+ years of experience with Azure DevOps (formerly VSTS) and Confluence
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
Experience supporting and leading large-scale organizational change management initiatives
Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to establish alignment, provide direction, and drive teams toward project and organizational objectives
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive issues, build relationships, develop others, and influence stakeholders
Strong project management and team leadership skills
Excellent communication, multitasking, analytical, and organizational abilities
Strong written, verbal, communication, and presentation skills
