About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage the planning and execution of project deliverables, ensuring successful, on-time, on-budget, and error-free completion
Manage the project charter, communications, metrics, reporting, overall program plan, dependencies, and program budget
Guide cross-functional teams in project execution using knowledge of cloud-based platforms and digital processes
Manage multiple projects concurrently
Serve as principal communicator with clients and internal stakeholders regarding project status
Identify, manage, and mitigate program risks and issues
Define program scope and success indicators
Apply Agile or Waterfall program management methodologies, including industry practices such as DevOps and CI/CD
Prioritize program requirements with the Product Owner and stakeholders
Develop communication and stakeholder management plans
Provide regular updates to business stakeholders and consumers of program deliverables
Create and manage dependencies across active projects
Lead and mentor project managers within the program
Develop program budget estimates, track actuals, and complete quarterly spend forecasts
Communicate program status using visual reporting tools and maintain program artifacts and lessons learned
Advocate for successful program adoption

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field AND 8+ years of professional experience in this capacity, OR Master's degree AND 5+ years of experience
Experience working with large programs or enterprise organizations
5+ years of experience with Agile project management
Experience working with data engineering teams on end-to-end application and data migration initiatives
Technical education or background in developmental engineering management
Knowledge of Microsoft Azure DevOps
Experience managing software development projects/programs in large matrix organizations
Familiarity with the application development life cycle
Advanced interpersonal skills to foster cooperative working relationships inside and outside the department
Ability to drive issues to resolution
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of the organization
