About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead user-centered design efforts from initial concept through market launch
  • Apply the full UX design process, including user research, personas, journey maps, wireframes, and prototypes
  • Present design concepts and recommendations to stakeholders and cross-functional team members
  • Build alignment and incorporate feedback
  • Advocate for user needs while balancing business goals and technical constraints
  • Contribute to product feature design and definition
  • Identify user research needed to support project and product delivery
  • Ensure design deliverables are high quality and adhere to established design standards

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree AND 8+ years of user experience (UX) design experience
  • OR 10+ years of UX design experience in lieu of a degree
  • Demonstrated expertise in interaction design and 3D design
  • Proficiency with industry-standard design and prototyping tools
  • Strong design presentation and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines
  • A portfolio showcasing UX and interaction design work (link should be included on resume)
  • Preferred: Knowledge of or experience with battery or charge management or energy solutions
  • Preferred: A passion for electric vehicles or machines
  • Preferred: Experience with mapping and 3D imaging
