About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Implement new cities on the platform by reviewing master plans, zoning laws, and building codes and translating urban planning parameters into system rules.
- Test the quality of feasibility studies by comparing platform results with studies prepared by architects (area schedules and drawings) and identifying necessary corrections.
- Propose and validate improvements to optimal-result calculations and apartment layouts.
- Log bugs and improvement requests for the development team and validate fixes.
- Support the Sales and Support teams with technical questions regarding legislation and feasibility.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering, with registration with CAU or CREA.
- Experience conducting feasibility or massing studies for real estate development.
- Ability to read and interpret urban planning legislation (floor area ratio, site coverage ratio, setbacks, height limits, and development rights charges).
- Knowledge of financial feasibility (GDV, costs, and margin).
- Technology proficiency: advanced spreadsheets and the ability to learn software quickly.
- Knowledge of programming, automation, or the use of AI in the workplace.
- Experience with BIM or IFC.
- Experience working across more than one state or municipality.
