About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide direct management of a project management team under the direction of a Hosting Director
- Oversee, lead, develop, and coach Senior Litigation Data Analysts, Technical Project Managers, and Hosting Team Leads
- Build and maintain relationships with clients supported by the team
- Partner with internal support and development organizations to ensure comprehensive and efficient client service
- Provide project-level consultation, escalation support, and load balancing during peak periods
- Oversee service delivery and hosting quality for direct reports
- Initiate proactive coaching and provide constructive feedback and development recommendations
- Serve as an internal and external escalation point and coordinate support structures and case coverage
- Conduct performance reviews and recommend employee growth and development opportunities
- Assign projects, monitor PM utilization and work allocation, coordinate coverage, and ensure case transitions
- Develop and strengthen internal processes and workflows with PM and OPS management
- Collaborate on organization-wide initiatives focused on optimal customer service
- Handle additional special projects as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5 plus years of experience in litigation support, legal practice, or related legal or eDiscovery industry
- Previous leadership experience is preferred
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to proactively and independently resolve complex issues
- Effective verbal and written communication with clients and all organizational levels
- Extensive knowledge of project management principles and concepts
- Knowledge of electronically stored information (ESI) as related to legal matters
- Knowledge of hosted discovery management applications and tools
- Knowledge of Windows operating systems, network storage, and archival technologies
- Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Extensive knowledge of litigation support applications such as Ringtail, eDiscovery Review, Relativity, and Introspect
- Demonstrated leadership traits, integrity, accountability, respect, and professionalism
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, organize work, and manage time efficiently
- Knowledge of business processes, best practices, clients, organizational structure, and internal support groups
- Ability to support special requests and projects and comply with policies and procedures
