About the role

  • Design and enforce approval workflows and escalation tiers
  • Ensure all concessions, including waived/free services, are priced or logged as promotional credits
  • Own the operating cadence, agenda, data package, and follow-through of the cross-functional Pricing Council
  • Translate Pricing Council direction into pricing policy, discounting guardrails, and approval matrices
  • Maintain consistent pricing across services, managed services/SaaS, and support
  • Build AI-assisted pricing tools, scenario calculators, and Monte Carlo-style simulations
  • Automate margin, discount-trend, and deal-outcome analyses
  • Build, validate, and challenge AI-generated pricing outputs
  • Partner with Sales and Delivery on strategic and structurally complex deals to identify cost exposure before contracts sign
  • Quantify hidden cost overlap during client transitions
  • Distinguish revenue-driven pricing actions from structural or cost-side changes for QoE and credit-agreement addback purposes
  • Own pricing and quote data hygiene in SFDC/CPQ
  • Ensure deals are tagged to the L1/L2/L3 segment/SKU reporting structure
  • Build and maintain KPI reporting on margin, discounting variability, deal velocity, and tooling adoption

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 8–10+ years in pricing, deal desk, revenue operations, or commercial finance

  • Comfort using AI-assisted analytics tools to build and scale pricing models
  • Excel fluency for validating AI-assisted outputs
  • Experience supporting complex B2B deals, including multi-platform or transition-period pricing
  • Executive presence and ability to present to ELT
  • Strong cross-functional influence across Sales and Delivery without direct reports
  • Preferred: experience in eDiscovery, legal tech, or managed/usage-based services pricing
  • Preferred: direct experience with AI-assisted modeling tools such as Claude or Copilot
  • Preferred: experience with Salesforce, CPQ, or deal-desk workflow tooling
  • Preferred: familiarity with QoE/credit-agreement addback treatment and covenant-relevant reporting
