About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver the day-to-day people agenda across the Group
- Provide practical, commercially focused HR advice and guidance to managers and senior stakeholders, including ExCo members
- Manage employee relations matters from initial advice through resolution, including grievances, disciplinary cases and flexible working requests
- Support managers with performance, attendance, conduct and employee wellbeing matters
- Own end-to-end recruitment and onboarding across the Group
- Partner with hiring managers to understand recruitment requirements
- Manage vacancies through TeamTailor ATS and maintain accurate recruitment records
- Support assessment centres and source candidates through LinkedIn and job boards
- Manage HR processes consistently and confidentially in line with UK employment legislation
- Draft offers and employment contracts; set up new starters in the HR system; complete references and participate in induction
- Manage exits, conduct exit interviews and provide trend insights
- Support team projects and take accountability for assigned personal projects
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee information and data integrity in the HR system
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experienced HR Generalist / Advisor
- Confident and collaborative approach to managing employee relations matters
- Excellent understanding of UK employment law and case load management
- Familiarity with HRIS, ATS and LinkedIn Recruiter
- Great attention to detail, time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure at a fast pace
- Working knowledge of HR functions and best practices
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Have or be working towards CIPD Level 5
- Working knowledge of TeamTailor and HiBob is an advantage
