About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver the day-to-day people agenda across the Group
- Provide practical, commercially focused HR advice and guidance to managers and senior stakeholders, including ExCo members
- Manage employee relations matters from initial advice through to resolution, including grievances, disciplinary cases and flexible working requests
- Ensure people matters are managed consistently, fairly and in line with employment legislation and company policies
- Partner with hiring managers to understand recruitment requirements
- Manage vacancies through the Group's ATS, TeamTailor
- Support assessment centres and source candidates through LinkedIn and job boards
- Manage onboarding and exiting processes, including drafting offers and employment contracts, setting up new starters in the HR system, completing references, induction and exit interviews
- Provide business insights from exit trends
- Complete ad hoc projects and take accountability for assigned personal projects
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee information and data integrity
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experienced HR Generalist / Advisor
- Confident and collaborative approach to managing employee relations matters
- Excellent understanding of UK employment law and case load management
- Familiarity with HRIS, ATS and LinkedIn Recruiter
- Great attention to detail, time management and organisation skills
- Ability to work under pressure at a fast pace
- Working knowledge of HR functions and best practices
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Have or be working towards CIPD Level 5
- Working knowledge of TeamTailor and HiBob advantageous
- Full-time availability, Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours per week
