About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define and drive the overarching technical vision for scalability, performance, and security
- Evaluate and select tools, frameworks, and architectures
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the engineering organization
- Coach and mentor engineers
- Investigate emerging technologies, frameworks, and best practices
- Lead prototyping initiatives and proof-of-concepts
- Ensure high platform performance and scalability
- Oversee performance optimization, load balancing, and capacity planning
- Design fault-tolerant, highly available systems
- Implement Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, and automation best practices
- Refine deployment, testing, and operations processes
- Collaborate with security experts on platform integrity, compliance, and data protection
- Address security vulnerabilities and champion secure coding practices
- Work with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to align technical initiatives with business objectives
- Tackle complex architectural and technical issues and serve as an escalation point
- Uphold coding standards through code reviews
- Establish best practices for testing, documentation, and version control
- Produce technical documentation, architectural diagrams, design guidelines, and operational runbooks
- Promote knowledge sharing across the organization
Requirements
What you’ll need- 12+ years of software engineering experience with demonstrated expertise across multiple domains (SDLC, AI engineering, corporate systems, etc.)
- Extensive experience designing and implementing large-scale, distributed systems
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages
- Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Proficiency with modern development frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to lead diverse engineering teams and drive successful outcomes
- Proven ability to define and drive architectural roadmaps aligned with evolving business needs
- Expertise diagnosing complex system issues and designing robust, scalable solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid understanding of security best practices, compliance standards, and data protection
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Visa sponsorship considered case by case based on business needs
