About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define and maintain the content model for Docplanner product knowledge
- Establish quality standards with references to repositories, files, and code locations
- Create a shared knowledge structure for the Kraken and Noa AI assistants
- Read feature logic in GitHub repositories and convert it into clear, reviewable outputs
- Improve code-based knowledge generation so fewer facts require manual confirmation
- Ensure new or changed features generate knowledge from code from day one
- Review the existing internal knowledge base and decide whether content should be migrated, rewritten, replaced, or archived
- Prioritize knowledge-base work based on usage and change frequency in agreement with the team manager
- Lead the team through the knowledge-base transformation and maintain consistent quality across markets and people
- Create guides, examples, and training sessions for the new fact-checking workflow
- Build team skills in writing self-contained facts, reviewing generated content, identifying knowledge gaps, working with repository content, and testing AI assistant answers
- Identify knowledge absent from code, such as market and plan differences, on-screen wording, patient-facing content, and screenshots
- Design repeatable information-gathering processes with Product Managers, Product Marketing, and Product Experts
- Run review loops with feature owners and track corrections and their causes
- Define update processes for keeping knowledge current across frequent releases
- Alert the Help Center team when releases make published content inaccurate
- Coordinate with Product Experts, the Help Center team, Kraken and Noa owners, and Engineering
- Test AI assistant answer quality against a fixed list of questions
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4 to 7 years of experience in technical writing, documentation engineering, knowledge management, developer experience, solutions engineering, or comparable work, with real ownership
- Comfort with Git and GitHub, including branches, pull requests, reading changes, and navigating large codebases
- Ability to read code well enough to understand rules and special cases; software engineering experience is not required
- Experience designing content structures using self-contained content pieces, labels, metadata, and standards
- Daily use of Markdown, YAML, or JSON
- Experience with versioned, reviewed documentation stored in a repository and built like code
- Understanding of how AI assistants retrieve and use content and how to test their answers
- Ability to get subject-matter experts to review facts efficiently
- Experience teaching teams new ways of working and making those practices stick
- Independence to define and establish a new role
- Professional English, written and spoken
- Must already have the legal right to work in the country of residence or location of the role; visa sponsorship is unavailable
