About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the design, configuration, implementation and ongoing optimization of enterprise business applications, with a strong focus on Oracle NetSuite and related Finance solutions
Design and support integrations across NetSuite, Salesforce, Snowflake and other enterprise applications
Analyze business processes and requirements and translate them into scalable solutions and integration designs
Develop and maintain integration specifications, data mappings, interface documentation, process flows and current/future-state solution diagrams
Evaluate whether requirements should be addressed through configuration, integration, automation or application development, while minimizing unnecessary customization
Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve interoperability between systems
Troubleshoot complex application and integration issues and perform root-cause analysis across systems, interfaces and data flows
Support integration controls including error handling, monitoring, logging, reconciliation and operational support procedures
Collaborate with business teams, technical teams, external implementation partners and vendors to review solutions and clarify requirements
Support data migration, validation, testing, deployment and post-implementation stabilization
Develop queries, scripts and technical utilities for analysis, troubleshooting, data validation and automation
Participate throughout the software development lifecycle from discovery through operational transition
Maintain technical documentation and contribute to knowledge transfer
Investigate emerging enterprise application capabilities and identify improvement opportunities

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
Approximately 5+ years of experience working with enterprise business applications, systems integration, solution design or similar technology functions
Strong experience with ERP platforms, preferably Oracle NetSuite
Experience supporting or integrating ERP, CRM, Finance, data or other enterprise SaaS platforms
Understanding of enterprise integration concepts, including REST/SOAP APIs, authentication, data mapping and transformation, error handling, and integration patterns
Experience translating business requirements into technical specifications and solution designs
Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities
Experience with SQL and relational data is an asset
Experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics CRM or another enterprise CRM platform is an asset
Experience with Snowflake or another cloud data platform is an asset
Experience with NetSuite technologies such as SuiteTalk, SuiteFlow and SuiteScript is an asset
Experience with iPaaS or middleware technologies is an asset
Understanding of Finance processes such as accounts payable, expense management, general ledger, banking and financial integrations is an asset
Experience working with external implementation partners and vendors
Understanding of the SDLC, change management, and IT service management practices
Excellent documentation, facilitation and communication skills
Demonstrated curiosity and ability to quickly learn unfamiliar technologies, business processes and system relationships
