About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, build, and operate the cloud platform running Documo’s document processing and fax products.
Support infrastructure behind Documo’s AI and machine learning services.
Own the software delivery path from pull request to production.
Maintain production health and scale the platform securely as the product catalog and AI workloads grow.
Provide strategic technical direction for the business.
Architect, develop, and maintain Documo’s software product catalog with Product, internal stakeholders, and customers.
Ensure technology solutions meet reliability, security, and scalability standards.
Maintain technical documentation and procedures.
Research and implement technologies that improve internal operations.
Implement information technology, information security, and compliance requirements.
Provide escalated technical support to customers and internal stakeholders.
Report to the Engineering Manager, DevOps; no direct reports.

Requirements

What you’ll need

6+ years of DevOps, site reliability, or platform engineering experience.
Experience using AI tools in daily work.
Ability to treat infrastructure as a product.
Ability to act as a technical lead and mentor other engineers.
Ability to support customer-facing work up to 10%, including escalations, connectivity and integration discussions, and security reviews.
