About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support onboarding, training, ongoing development, and retraining of team members
  • Maintain and update source and account relationship lists
  • Identify and prioritize new prospects with colleagues and management
  • Distribute and rebalance assignments across the team
  • Conduct call and communication reviews and provide coaching and feedback
  • Oversee and distribute client inquiry workload and ensure timely, accurate resolutions
  • Monitor inquiry trends to identify performance or data quality gaps and escalate as needed
  • Maintain documentation of regional project data sources and accurate source-repository records
  • Track and analyze source conversion rates and outbound engagement activity
  • Monitor commercial construction project reporting across the construction lifecycle
  • Track and report data quality, coverage, and completeness metrics
  • Provide insights and recommendations to Content Operations and Product leadership
  • Build and grow relationships with high-value industry participants through calls, emails, events, and association meetings
  • Lead demonstrations of Dodge tools and data capabilities for key industry sources
  • Coach the team on demonstration skills, outreach strategies, prospecting, value-selling, and objection handling
  • Oversee day-to-day growth and coverage expansion in the targeted geography
  • Report directly to the Manager, Construction Information
  • Travel up to 10%

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Candidates must be located in one of: New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, District of Columbia, Virginia, West Virginia, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, or Connecticut
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States and must not now or in the future require employment visa sponsorship
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, Communications, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience demonstrating advanced outreach, account management, or customer success
  • 5+ years of experience in the construction industry
  • 5+ years of experience in customer success, account management, or client operations
  • Proven outbound relationship-building and source acquisition experience
  • Ability to coach others on outreach techniques, customer engagement, product adoption, data-sharing cooperation, outbound playbooks, and cadences
  • Ability to demonstrate and train others on software and data capabilities, including reviewing recorded or live demos
  • Experience coaching team members on multi-channel outbound prospecting using phone, email, and social media
  • Opportunity-qualification, value-selling, and objection-handling coaching experience
  • Experience with territory planning and account segmentation
  • Experience using CRM and BI/reporting tools such as Salesforce, Tableau, Quicksight, and Excel
  • Strong communication skills and ability to support business retention efforts
  • Customer-focused mindset and ability to understand client needs and deliver effective solutions
  • Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to identify customer needs and contribute to retention strategies
  • Experience coaching and developing outbound-calling team members
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills
  • Background check required after a conditional job offer
