About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coach team members and manage onboarding, training, retraining, and ongoing development
  • Manage day-to-day team workflows, workload distribution, and assignment balancing
  • Maintain and update source and account relationship lists
  • Identify and prioritize new prospects with colleagues and management
  • Conduct call and communication reviews and provide performance and quality feedback
  • Oversee and distribute client inquiry workload, ensuring timely and accurate resolutions
  • Monitor inquiry trends, performance, and data quality gaps; escalate issues as needed
  • Maintain documentation and accurate, up-to-date regional project data sources in the source repository
  • Track and analyze source conversion rates and outbound engagement activity
  • Monitor commercial construction project reporting across the construction lifecycle
  • Track and report metrics related to data quality, coverage, and completeness
  • Provide insights and recommendations to Content Operations and Product leadership
  • Build and grow relationships with high-value industry participants through calls, emails, events, and association meetings
  • Lead demonstrations of Dodge tools and data capabilities for industry sources
  • Coach the team on demo skills, outreach strategies, prospecting, qualification, value-selling, and objection handling
  • Oversee growth and coverage expansion activities in the targeted geography
  • Collaborate with leadership to maintain and expand source relationships and improve data collection strategies
  • Report directly to the Manager, Construction Information

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Candidates must be located in Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, Idaho, Nevada, Washington, Oregon, California, Alaska, Hawaii, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, or Kansas
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States and must not now or in the future require sponsorship for employment visa status
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, Communications, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience demonstrating advanced outreach, account management, or customer success
  • 5+ years of experience in the construction industry
  • 5+ years of experience in customer success, account management, or client operations
  • Proven track record of outbound relationship-building and source acquisition
  • Ability to coach others on effective outreach techniques, customer engagement, product adoption, data-sharing cooperation, outbound playbooks, and cadences
  • Ability to demonstrate and train others on software and data capabilities, including reviewing recorded or live demos
  • Experience with multi-channel outbound prospecting using phone, email, and social media
  • Experience with opportunity-qualification techniques
  • Knowledge of value-selling and objection-handling techniques
  • Experience with territory planning and account segmentation
  • Experience using CRM and BI/reporting tools such as Salesforce, Tableau, QuickSight, and Excel
  • Strong communication skills
  • Customer-focused mindset and ability to understand client needs and deliver effective solutions
  • Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to identify customer needs and contribute to retention strategies
  • Experience coaching and developing outbound-calling team members
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills
  • Background check required after a conditional job offer
