About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build candidate pipelines and support immediate and long-term staffing needs across ID/DD Waiver Services and ABA Services
Manage the full-cycle recruitment process from application through onboarding
Partner with hiring managers across Virginia
Create a candidate experience reflecting the organization’s commitment to care and respect
Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and candidate selection criteria
Source applicants through LinkedIn and other professional networks
Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events
Partner with schools, colleges, unemployment offices, and community organizations
Support external and internal hiring efforts
Screen qualified applicants and refer them to hiring managers
Follow up with candidates and hiring managers to gather recruitment-experience feedback
Anticipate future staffing needs and proactively develop talent pools
Process job requisitions and track candidates from application through onboarding using ATS and recruiting software
Provide company information to prospective applicants
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
At least one year of experience in talent acquisition or a similar role, including full-cycle recruiting
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet competing deadlines
Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), preferably Paycom
Familiarity with recruiting platforms such as Indeed, Handshake, and LinkedIn
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel
Ability to document processes and stay current with recruiting trends
High school diploma or equivalent
Occasional travel to Richmond and other locations across Virginia approximately two to three times per month
Bachelor's degree in human resources management, business administration, psychology, or a related field preferred
Two to three years of experience in talent acquisition or a similar role preferred
