About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Inspect, diagnose, and repair dust collection systems
Perform scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance and general maintenance services on industrial ventilation systems and filtration equipment
Support customers across manufacturing, mining, agriculture, and power industries
Establish and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and co-workers through oral and written communication
Serve as the direct customer contact representing the company
Enforce safety standards
Work in diverse conditions, including industrial noise, weather, heights, airborne dust and debris, and electrical work
Maintain service records using field service management software and a computer
Maintain inventory in the stock room and service trucks
Travel overnight approximately 25% across the Southeastern district

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or GED
3+ year of maintenance, repair or related experience
Valid Drivers license
Must be able to wear a respirator
Must be able to travel including overnight (estimated 25%)
Must pass physical requirements evaluation
Must be able to use an iPad for work order and time management
Experience with Industrial Ventilation, Compressed Air Services, Electric Motors, Fans and Three Phase Power preferred
Ability to work overtime when needed
3+ years’ experience preferably in Industrial Maintenance and/or Millwright
General Industrial Maintenance experience
Self-motivated, reliable, and organized
Ability to work on your own and with a group
Forklift experience preferred but not required; Donaldson will provide certification
Currently and legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship
