About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Engage with customers within the assigned territory to develop, maintain, and expand commercial relationships
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals within the assigned territory
  • Present and sell products and services to current and potential customers
  • Optimize cost-saving filtration solutions
  • Develop and execute action plans to achieve growth objectives, support distributors, and close direct sales
  • Identify, target, and pursue new customers, partners, and opportunities
  • Understand customer drivers and markets and align strategies accordingly
  • Prospect industry accounts to expand penetration
  • Collaborate with Customer Service, National Accounts, Engineering, Marketing, and Purchasing
  • Establish and maintain client and potential customer relationships and resolve customer concerns
  • Prepare itineraries, call reports, expense reports, sales forecasts, customer performance reports, and competitive activity reports
  • Update and maintain the Salesforce.com CRM database
  • Coordinate and deliver customer training sessions
  • Participate in seminars, tradeshows, and telemarketing initiatives
  • Travel up to 50–75%

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in industrial or technical sales
  • Competent with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Competent with CRM and ERP software; SalesForce.com experience strongly preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Ability to work collaboratively across high-performance teams
  • Self-motivated and focused on achieving measurable results through strategic actions
  • Process filtration experience strongly preferred
  • Experience selling to refineries strongly preferred
  • Proven track record of increasing territory sales volume and achieving KPIs consistently
  • Experience selling industrial products through distributors, agents, and sales partners
  • Ability to forecast sales accurately and analyze data to inform growth strategies
  • Adaptability to evolving customer needs and delivering tailored solutions
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; strong presentation abilities
  • Currently and legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship
  • International relocation or remote work arrangements outside of the United States will not be considered
