About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build and lead the product marketing function at Donorbox
- Make product marketing a key driver of growth, conversion, and retention
- Own positioning and messaging across diverse nonprofit audiences
- Define Donorbox's Product-Led Growth strategy
- Partner with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing to bring launches to market
- Lead, mentor, and manage 1 direct report (Product Marketing Manager)
- Set clear team goals, priorities, and performance standards
- Build and formalize scalable PMM frameworks, playbooks, and standardized launch tiers
- Coordinate launch timelines, narrative integrity, and revenue goals across functions
- Identify sales enablement priorities that shorten deal cycles and improve retention
- Establish outcome-based KPIs for Product Marketing initiatives
- Track and report campaign and feature effectiveness to executive leadership
- Use product usage data, market performance metrics, and financial KPIs to validate messaging, pricing/packaging proposals, and GTM investments
- Own Donorbox's central Messaging House, value propositions, and competitive differentiation across B2B2C ICPs
- Build GTM assets including battlecards, objection-handling guides, pitch decks, and competitive tear-downs
- Serve as the primary voice of the market to Product Management and influence roadmap priorities
- Leverage competitive intelligence, win/loss analysis, and customer feedback to shape the product roadmap
- Synthesize behavioral data and macro-level intelligence into buyer personas, messaging strategies, and positioning frameworks
- Own competitive intelligence and monitoring
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7+ years of progressive experience in Product Marketing leadership in SaaS, B2B, or B2B2C environments
- Proven experience managing PMM team members and building scalable, standardized processes from the ground up
- Hands-on experience developing Product-Led Growth strategies for self-serve conversion, product adoption loops, and freemium/tiered growth tactics
- Exceptional analytical ability to use quantitative metrics, product usage data, and KPI tracking to evaluate campaign performance and present business cases to the leadership team
- Track record of defining clear performance metrics and consistently measuring the effectiveness of product marketing outcomes
- Strong track record of coordinating closely with Product, Sales, and CS to drive aligned commercial results
- Outstanding narrative and messaging capabilities across distinct ICPs
- Fully remote based in Canada or United States, with a preference for CT/ET time zones
- Background in Fintech, Philanthropy tech, Nonprofit tech, or specialized SaaS verticals
- Experience working across multi-segment / B2B2C customer bases
- Experience balancing product-led growth (PLG) with sales-assisted GTM for larger accounts
- Experience working across multiple geographies
