About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Operate CNC machines, including Haas, 440, Blitz, Marvel, lathes, and parts washing machines
- Provide backup support to production cells, including GP, door hardware, and IGS fabrication
- Operate drill presses, saws, small presses, hand tools, and packaging equipment as needed
- Perform machining, assembly, and packing operations
- Follow shop drawings, written instructions, standard operating procedures, and quality control guidelines
- Inspect and prepare materials before and after processing to verify quality standards
- Perform minor tool changes and minor machine set-ups
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma and/or GED certification
- 1+ year of experience operating a HAAS machine or industrial equivalent
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and other technical drawings
- Basic CNC/Robotics set-up skills
- Ability to stand, use hands, and reach with hands and arms regularly
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Close vision required
