About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide leadership and coordination across mechanical, electrical, embedded firmware, software, cloud, product test, and prototyping engineering disciplines
Serve as a strategic member of the management team
Help drive execution of the company’s organizational strategy and business plan
Identify and lead product enhancement opportunities supporting business and market objectives
Identify and develop strategic partnership opportunities using the company’s core competencies
Identify co-development opportunities for new products, including potential SDK licensing agreements
Drive internal product development initiatives
Participate in evaluating new markets and business opportunities
Apply product marketing and product management expertise to support strategic growth
Partner with Product Development and Project Management teams on new product introductions and product termination

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline, preferably mechanical engineering
10+ years of experience in Engineering and Project Management
5+ years’ experience in a leadership role
Knowledge of Engineering Management tools like FMEA, Risk Analysis, and problem solving tools
Knowledge of electromechanical cabinets, software, and cabling
Familiarity with software development and associated toolchains
Understanding of business economics and cost-saving optimization
Involvement in new product introduction (NPI) launches
