About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build new relationships with targeted customers across various markets
  • Lead and coordinate customer relationships, understand customer needs, and identify potential new clients
  • Execute sales and marketing plans to deliver volume and value growth
  • Collaborate with marketing to build plans using market intelligence, market research, and mapping
  • Lead negotiations, implement price changes, and develop long-term contract agreements

  • Advise on competition, including capabilities, strategy, positioning, cost structure, technology, financial return, customer mix, and supply chain
  • Understand current and emerging customer needs and identify profitable market opportunities
  • Promote Dow LSR solutions and drive specification decisions to achieve profitable business growth and innovation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree or relevant military experience at or above a U.S. E5, Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class, or Sergeant ranking
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience
  • Must be willing and able to travel up to 50%
  • Ability to work legally in the United States
  • No visa sponsorship/support is available, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency process
  • Preferred: Experience in selling/promoting LSR (Liquid Silicone Rubber) solutions
  • Preferred: 7+ years’ experience in technical, sales, or commercial related positions
  • Preferred: Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques, including cold calls
  • Preferred: Previous silicone sales and market knowledge
  • Effective use of CRM, DSR, CMT, and Smart Price
