About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as contract administrator for assigned outplant terminals
  • Use logistics, technical, and operations expertise to correct process or equipment issues
  • Improve process performance and reliability for outplant terminals and transportation modes
  • Work with technical advisers and logistics operations personnel to optimize operations
  • Lead advanced troubleshooting and coach others
  • Ensure Most Effective Technology and operating discipline requirements are in place
  • Support procurement tender negotiation and implementation with operational expertise
  • Conduct terminal review meetings and drive continuous improvement across terminals, business planners, logistics, safety, and quality
  • Participate in process and business/functional improvement efforts
  • Identify cost-to-serve reduction opportunities and lead logistics initiatives and projects
  • Contribute to logistics plans, including serving as an S&OP focal point
  • Serve as Dow and terminal focal point for mode QNs, investigations, corrective actions, and issue escalation
  • Act as RCI team Lead for P1 events
  • Coordinate with Logistics, Quality, Safety, and Business teams to align activities with business objectives
  • Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day technical and operational challenges, escalating broader-impact issues when appropriate

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree OR relevant military experience at or above a U.S. E5, Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class, or Sergeant ranking OR 10 years of relevant working experience
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in a Supply Chain or Manufacturing environment
  • Ability to work legally in the United States
  • No visa sponsorship/support is available, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process
  • Supply chain and logistics management knowledge
  • Ability to build working relationships, communicate effectively, and influence stakeholders
  • Cross-functional teamwork capability
  • Problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills
  • Process improvement, cost-saving, and efficiency optimization skills
  • Proficiency with business systems, data management tools, reporting platforms, and Microsoft Office
  • Analytical and data interpretation skills
  • Project management skills
  • Sound independent decision-making
