About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Set and lead the global MobilityScience™ growth strategy, accountable for delivering greater than $1B in growth
- Build and scale Dow’s MobilityScience™ growth platform across priority applications, value pools, market opportunities, and strategic bets
- Accelerate innovation commercialization with R&D, businesses, regions, and customers
- Govern strategic programs through milestones, ownership, investment discipline, and measurable outcomes
- Define and activate global brand-owner and strategic customer engagement plans with OEMs, tiers, and value-chain partners
- Identify, evaluate, and execute strategic investments to strengthen Dow’s portfolio and expand market access
- Guide regional and business teams in selecting, staffing, and executing high-impact growth initiatives
- Own the global growth platform strategy, roadmap, operating model, and execution cadence
- Establish prioritization, governance, decision-making discipline, growth methodologies, tools, playbooks, KPIs, performance tracking, and executive reporting
- Lead talent strategy, staffing, and capability development for critical growth programs and entrepreneurial platform teams
- Influence business and regional growth strategies, investment priorities, portfolio choices, capital allocation, product priorities, go-to-market priorities, and talent deployment
- Accelerate innovation commercialization through partnerships with R&D, business, technical, and commercial teams
- Build, coach, and empower entrepreneurial, outcome-oriented teams across regions and functions
- Align senior stakeholders, challenge conventional thinking, and drive decisions creating long-term value for Dow
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or Physics
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in the Automotive industry
- Experience leading and executing enterprise-level or business segment strategic initiatives, including planning, stakeholder alignment, and delivery of measurable business outcomes
- Experience leading a globally distributed team and driving alignment, performance, and collaboration across multiple regions and cultures
- Ability to work legally in the United States
- No visa sponsorship or support is available, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency process
- Strong commercial strategy expertise, including pricing, value propositions, market entry, customer segmentation, and go-to-market execution
- Deep understanding of the automotive value chain and emerging growth platforms in battery, power electronics, lightweighting, and sustainable materials
