About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support small to medium-size customers and manage distribution within the Pacific Northwest market
  • Work with large accounts and oversee non-selling processes
  • Build relationships with key influencers and expand customer networks
  • Generate leads and define sales territories

  • Understand customer needs to differentiate Dow and gain market share
  • Search for new product development opportunities
  • Execute sales and marketing plans, delivering volume and value
  • Develop sales plans aligned with marketing plans in coordination with other functions
  • Develop sales forecasts with Production and Supply Chain
  • Collect and analyze data to shape sales plans and inform new product development
  • Lead negotiations and develop and implement price strategies aligned with business goals, legal implications, customs regulations, and Dow sales processes
  • Collaborate with functions and stakeholders to deliver customer experience results

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree or relevant military experience at or above a U.S. E5, Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class, or Sergeant ranking
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience
  • Ability to work legally in the United States
  • No visa sponsorship/support is available, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process
  • Previous commercial/customer-interfacing related experience
  • Prior sales experience, including demonstrated ability to identify and deliver cross-business sales
  • Proficiency in CRM, DSR, OMP, SmartPrice, and Microsoft Office
  • Fluency in English
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Excellent phone and cold calling skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
