About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Evaluate technical and functional specifications
Define and evolve the front-end architecture of Next.js applications (App Router, Server Components, Server Actions)
Design and maintain a reusable design system with Tailwind CSS
Integrate API data into the components being developed
Design and conduct the tests required to deploy applications
Ensure code performance and quality
Ensure the operation, maintenance, updates, and technical evolution of applications and websites
Troubleshoot and resolve issues
Monitor performance (Core Web Vitals, SSR/SSG/ISR, caching) and accessibility
Contribute to technology watch and industry best practices

Requirements

What you’ll need

Higher education qualification (2+ years of post-secondary education)
At least 6 years of experience in a similar role
At least 2 years of experience with Next.js
Proficiency in Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS
Proficiency in shadcn/ui, React Hook Form, and Zod
Proficiency in ESLint, Prettier, Vitest, and Testing Library
Experience with GitLab, Storybook, Figma, and Jira
Experience working with Agile practices and methodologies
Experience with monorepos (Turborepo)
Strong awareness of UX/UI and RGAA/WCAG accessibility standards
Knowledge of design systems
