About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the design and optimization of electrical wiring harnesses from concept phase through to series production
- Analyze design data and ensure compliance with OEM standards and customer requirements
- Drive and implement engineering changes (ECR/ECO), including impact assessment on product and production
- Create, review, and maintain high-quality technical and CAD documentation
- Perform technical calculations, including wire cross-sections, load calculations, and fuse sizing
- Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, production, suppliers, and customer representatives
- Contribute to defining technical solutions and engineering standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proficiency in Czech and German or English sufficient for work-related communication (minimum B2 level)
- Experience as a designer or similar position
- Technical degree in electrical engineering, automotive, mechatronics or a related field
- Solid understanding of OEM standards and product development processes
- Analytical thinking and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines in a dynamic setting, adapt to changes, and ensure accuracy and compliance in technical documentation
