About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Configure and update customer campaigns in Drips’ proprietary platform
- Set up outreach schedules for messages and calls
- Configure branching logic and response-based actions
- Attach and map audio files for outbound calls
- Work with JSON-based configuration files to define campaign behavior
- Use simple scripts or structured data files for configuration, data preparation, or bulk updates
- Manage a queue of build and support requests in the ticketing system
- Understand requesters’ objectives and determine required platform changes
- Make updates, test configurations, and document changes
- Translate vague business objectives into concrete configuration choices
- Recommend message volume, scheduling, call and response routing, and maintainable campaign structures
- Balance client goals, technical constraints, and operational considerations
- Run basic tests to verify message order, audio playback, and campaign behavior
- Investigate reported configuration issues
- Collaborate with QA, Build Specialists, Client Success, Operations, and Production leadership
Requirements
What you’ll need- Exceptional organization; ability to manage a steady queue of requests, prioritize competing work, and keep tasks moving
- Comfort reading and editing JSON or similar formats such as XML or CSV
- Experience using spreadsheets to track and organize configuration details
- Willingness and ability to learn proprietary software and follow documentation
- Strong attention to detail, including catching mismatched IDs, incorrect mappings, and inconsistent rules
- Good problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to ask clarifying questions and explain changes in plain language to non-technical partners
- No software engineering or computer science degree required
- Prior experience in technical, operations, or support-focused roles is a plus, not required
- Experience configuring marketing automation platforms, CRMs, dialers, or workflow/rules-based tools is a plus
- Salesforce or similar CRM experience is a plus
- Experience managing a ticket queue or support caseload is a plus
- Experience running email, SMS, or call-center outreach campaigns is a plus
- Basic scripting or query language familiarity is a plus
- Experience processing audio files is a plus
- Background in IT support, marketing operations, QA, data operations, or similar is a plus
