About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead planning, execution, and completion of features
- Manage project scope, risks, and dependencies
- Analyze linkages and interactions between component parts to ensure system integrity
- Foster continuous improvement and collective ownership of quality and deliverables
- Champion responsible use of AI-assisted development tools
- Set measurable performance goals and conduct regular 1:1 meetings
- Provide feedback and manage the employee lifecycle, including hiring, onboarding, performance management, and reviews
- Use code reviews and work assessments to ensure quality and deepen team expertise
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders on strategic insights and automation solutions
- Address conflicts and issues with team members and stakeholders, escalating appropriately
- Oversee end-to-end delivery of Pega projects, meeting timelines and quality standards
- Motivate and inspire the engineering team while managing performance
Requirements
What you’ll need- No visa sponsorship; individuals with temporary visas or who need sponsorship now or in the future are not eligible
- 5+ years of professional development experience
- Experience leading teams informally or formally on large projects
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology
- Extensive experience designing workflows using Pega capabilities
- Strong case management background, including Pega case types, stages and steps, routing, SLAs, and case lifecycle automation
- Track record of collaboration across cross-functional teams
- Deep understanding of Agile principles and experience mentoring teams on their application
- Ability to manage complex project scopes and mitigate risks
- Demonstrated use of AI, such as AI-assisted code development or leading AI adoption
- Proven ability to lead complex Pega project delivery and design workflows and case management solutions
- Strong case lifecycle design knowledge
- Ability to mentor others and guide junior members on Agile principles
- Ability to bridge technical teams and business needs
- Commitment to continuous learning and innovative approaches
