Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build and scale the People function during a critical phase of company growth
  • Align People initiatives with organizational goals, company culture, and employee engagement
  • Partner with leadership to scale quality hiring while maintaining a high talent bar
  • Manage and develop the internal Talent team and build an efficient hiring engine
  • Deliver a consistent, high-quality candidate experience
  • Develop a best-in-class onboarding program
  • Coach and develop managers on leadership best practices
  • Build scalable leadership development programs and identify high-potential talent
  • Partner with the CEO and leadership team on organizational design and succession planning
  • Strengthen and scale a fast-paced, high-ownership, collaborative culture
  • Maintain employee engagement and build feedback programs for a fully remote environment
  • Build and evolve performance management programs
  • Support managers with goal setting, feedback, and performance conversations
  • Use performance and feedback data to inform development plans and organizational decisions
  • Own compensation and benefits programs
  • Deliver reporting on headcount, turnover, hiring, and performance KPIs
  • Manage the company’s HCM (Rippling), leaves, and employee relations
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and best practices
  • Travel semi-frequently to professional office settings and other local and national events, including some overnight travel

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of experience in People/HR leadership roles, including experience in high-growth environments
  • Experience in startup and high-growth technology companies (cybersecurity experience a plus)
  • Proven experience developing high-performing teams, across a business and within own team
  • Proven ability to influence and drive decisions at senior leadership levels
  • Strong judgment, high ownership, and ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strategic thinking, strong business acumen, and ability to translate vision into action
  • Exceptional relationship-building, communication, strategic people partnering, and coaching abilities
  • Highly organized, with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
