About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead discovery activities across business and technology teams to define problems, opportunities, and solution requirements
- Elicit, analyse, document, and prioritise business, functional, integration, and data requirements
- Produce business requirements documents, user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, data flows, business rules, and use cases
- Engage subject matter experts to capture as-is processes and determine to-be solutions
- Conduct gap analysis to identify business and system change requirements
- Design and facilitate workshops with stakeholders, technical teams, and operational users
- Lead requirements gathering, process mapping, gap analysis, and solution design workshops
- Facilitate decision-making and present findings, options, and recommendations to senior leadership
- Work with technical teams to design solutions that enhance business performance and customer experience
- Define success criteria and support benefit realisation
- Support testing and business validation activities
- Contribute to system and data integration initiatives
- Identify and support change management activities
- Develop training materials
- Drive user adoption and post-implementation reviews
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience in a Business Analyst role within IT, digital transformation, or similar environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into practical solutions
- Extensive experience facilitating requirements workshops with senior leadership stakeholders
- Proven track record in producing requirements artefacts
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies
- Proficiency with M365, Visio, and other business analysis or mapping tools
- Experience within FMCG, print management, supply chain, or similarly fast-paced operational environments would be advantageous
- Understanding of ERP platforms and their role in supporting business processes would be beneficial
- Experience using data analysis and reporting tools is desirable
- Business analysis certifications would be advantageous
