About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure the proper operation of test benches
- Take weekly planning and user requests into account when setting up the test benches
- Configure the equipment according to the configuration required for testing
- Install tools and instruments associated with the test bench, including IEV, BISG, SYGAM, CUB, and Gconf
- Couple the test benches with other benches, including Engine Cabinet, IB, and SIB
- Provide first-level support to testers and escalate issues to second-level support when necessary
- Inform the test bench lead engineer and test bench manager of failures occurring during sessions
- Gather session information and data in the reporting tool
- Update the visual management board and test bench documentation
- Propose solutions to improve equipment performance
- Participate in User Group and Control Change Board meetings
- Investigate, analyze, and manage the resolution of assigned defects
- Conduct debugging sessions and carry out defect investigations
- Update the LTM Reporter database with defect indicators and progress information
- Participate in FMEA activities
- Keep the facilities operational through continuous monitoring
- Carry out the preventive maintenance plan and provide progress reports
- Lock out and tag out the facilities for maintenance operations
- Wear the required safety equipment and complete the safety checklist
- Communicate environmental safety rules to users
- Report any issue that could affect the safety of personnel or facilities
Requirements
What you’ll need- BTS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent first-year university level (L1)
- Electrical authorization training required (B2V, to be confirmed)
- ZRR clearance required (MRTT access)
- Intermediate English proficiency
- Ability to work independently
- Fast learner with strong assimilation skills
- Detail-oriented and rigorous
- Open-minded and curious
- Ability to lift loads weighing 10 to 15 kg
- Ability to walk for extended periods
- Primarily shift-based work in a two-shift schedule: 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. and 11:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m.
