About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support monthly and annual financial closings in accordance with IFRS
- Prepare annual financial statements in accordance with local statutory requirements
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities
- Reconcile all general ledger accounts
- Review and code incoming invoices
- Prepare outgoing invoices
- Collaborate with internal Shared Service Centers and external contacts
- Support process optimization initiatives
- Handle special project-related assignments
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed training as a tax assistant or qualification as a financial accountant
- Initial practical experience in preparing annual financial statements
- SAP knowledge (FI and FI-AA) is an advantage
- Knowledge of national and international accounting standards
- Basic knowledge of tax law is desirable
- Good command of English
- Sound knowledge of standard Microsoft Office applications
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Good time management skills
- Service- and customer-oriented approach
