About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide administrative support to regional pricing teams
- Collaborate with pricing team members within the region
- Support administration of the team’s centralized email flow
- Analyze business data and allocate workload according to assigned matrices
- Manage exceptions identified within the database
- Prepare management reports providing visibility into workflow management and response times
- Review quote conversion status provided by pricing teams
- Follow through on reasons for lost quotes, categorize them, and make findings visible to branch and sales management teams
- Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve operational efficiency
- Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for new employees requiring access to reports and email boxes
- Participate in special projects assigned by management
- May provide guidance and training to junior staff members
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associate Bachelor’s degree in administration or related field is preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an administrative capacity is preferred
- Experience in the transportation and logistics industry is preferred
- Experience in data analysis and digital systems is preferred
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good working knowledge of database and transport management system
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good time-management and organizational skills
- Knowledge of transportation and logistics operations and regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or related field is preferred
- Fluent in English (oral and written)
- Knowledge of database and project management software preferred
