About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems (QMS).
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections of warehousing and logistics operations.
  • Oversee corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for non-compliances and deviations.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, BRCGS standards, and relevant industry standards.
  • Liaise with LH & RP regarding regulatory bodies and prepare for inspections and audits.
  • Maintain current knowledge of regulatory changes and industry best practices.
  • Lead quality improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency and product safety.
  • Analyse data and metrics to identify improvement areas and develop strategies.
  • Implement best practices and innovative solutions to improve quality outcomes.
  • Manage quality documentation, including policies, procedures, manuals, and records.
  • Prepare and present quality reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of quality performance indicators.
  • Support implementation of customers.
  • Develop and deliver quality management training programs to warehousing and logistics staff.
  • Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
  • Provide guidance and support on quality-related issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align quality objectives with organizational goals.
  • Engage with suppliers, transporters, and partners to ensure supply-chain quality standards.
  • Build and maintain external partner relationships for compliance and quality assurance.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations, BRCGS standards, and quality improvement methodologies.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality management role within the logistics or warehousing industry.
  • Certification in Quality Management (e.g., CPHQ, Six Sigma, Lean).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in quality management software and tools.
  • Previous experience of delivering training sessions.
  • Previous experience working with ISO Standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001).
  • UK Full Driving License.
  • Successful candidates must undergo necessary right-to-work checks.
  • Certain sites require 5-years’ worth of referencing and criminal record checks.
