About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support Area Managers and senior leaders as a sparring partner on business and financial matters in the groupage division
  • Analyze operational and financial KPIs, business development, and contribution to results
  • Derive specific recommendations for action
  • Identify optimization opportunities in transport and logistics processes
  • Support forecasting, budget planning, and cost-effectiveness analyses
  • Support initiatives to improve results and monitor their implementation
  • Prepare clear reports and management analyses
  • Work closely with Operations, Finance, and regional leaders
  • Continuously improve transparency and management of the groupage network

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed vocational training as a Freight Forwarding and Logistics Services Clerk or comparable qualification
  • Further qualification as a Transport Specialist or Business Administrator is preferred
  • Several years of experience in road transport, less-than-truckload (LTL), groupage, or transport logistics is an advantage
  • Understanding of the business relationships and relevant KPIs within a freight forwarding or transport organization
  • Experience in controlling, reporting, pricing, network management, or commercial operations management is an advantage
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Experience with BI or reporting tools is preferred
  • Strong analytical skills and a solution-oriented mindset
  • Confident communication with a range of stakeholders
  • Self-motivated and proactive
  • Very good German skills
  • Good English skills
