About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare, distribute, reprint, track, and document labels for carton/pallet pickers
- Coordinate outbound pulls and plugs with yard drivers using the Y/WMS system
- Assist supervisors in ensuring trailers are properly chocked and green lights are active before movement or loading
- Complete computer data entry for shipments
- Issue seals to loaders and verify seal, trailer, store, and other information
- Prepare Bills of Lading for completed outbound loads
- Schedule LTL carrier pickups where site-specific
- Print work assignments for replenishment drivers
- Document and file outbound paperwork
- Compile and track downtime sheets as required
- Communicate issues to outbound supervisors promptly
- Maintain a clean, orderly, safe, and secure work area
- Distribute and collect tools and equipment and report issues
- Follow OSHA, MSDS, company, and ISO procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned and assist in various operational areas
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or GED
- 1-3 years’ experience working in inventory control or warehousing admin experience
- Must have Excel experience and be computer literate
- Intermediate computer skills
- Experience with RF scanners
- Proficient MS Office applications
- English reading, writing, and verbal skills
- Basic to intermediate mathematical skills for verifying quantities, counting inventory, and related duties
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision or guidance
- Ability to adapt to change and thrive in a fast-paced work environment
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work in unregulated warehouse temperatures
- Ability to safely use powered equipment, RF scanners, computers, and printers
- Ability to lift/carry and push/pull 11-20 pounds
- Ability to work overtime as dictated by business, mandatory or voluntary
